A lemon drop is a sugar covered, lemon-seasoned treat that is shaded yellow and molded like a smaller than usual lemon. They can be sweet or have a more sharp flavor.
Ingredients:

Water
Cream of Tartar
Preparation:
Lemon drops are made by bubbling sugar, water and cream of tartar until it achieves the hard split stage. As the blend cools, lemon flavor is added. The confection is then moved into long ropes, cut into little pieces and came in sugar.
Including acids, for example, lemon juice to the boiled sugar blend can keep sugar from taking shapes.
